Zebulon Time Capsule

Civic Groups Invited to Contribute to Zebulon Time Capsule

On Saturday, October 24, our community will come together to present the Zebulon Time Capsule buried in 1976 and install a new one. This capsule will be buried at PNC Bank (known as People’s Bank 50 years ago) and is scheduled to be opened in 50 years. We are reaching out to key civic organizations to help us capture the true spirit and history of our community as it stands today.

Preservation Zebulon and Little River Historical Society are hosting and planning this event. We want future generations to understand the valued contributions of Zebulon’s civic organizations, their impact, missions, and the people who make their work possible.

Zebulon’s Bicentennial Commission gathers for the Time Capsule Burial at People’s Bank on October 24, 1976.
