Preservation Zebulon is a 501(c)(3) organization working in the Zebulon, NC area to promote, protect, and preserve the historic homes, buildings, sites, and landmarks in the Zebulon area. We invite volunteers of any race or creed to assist us by providing various services.
–WE NEED HISTORIC HOMES TOUR VOLUNTEERS —
Preservation Zebulon needs your help to make this year’s Historic Homes Tour the best ever. We need tour guides to help guide visitors through the beautiful houses and businesses in Zebulon’s proposed historic district. Training will be provided, and volunteers may receive one free ticket to the event. Whether you have existing skills, or you want to learn new ones, Preservation Zebulon appreciates your help.
Additionally, we seek volunteers to help us with:
- Being a volunteer / helper for the Historic Homes Tour (4/29/2023)
- Marketing / Office help
- Events (registration and check-in, information desk, directing attendees, setup/cleanup)
- Fundraising (may involve telephone calls, writing thank you notes, or emails)
- Communications (writing copy for publications and social media)
- Photography – taking, editing, or scanning photos
- Research (what can I learn and share about my house and/or my family?)
- Social media (creating and sending out messages, responding to inquiries)
- Audio/Visual – creating flyers, video editing, editing subtitles
- Teaching / presentations
- Direct mailings assistance
- Other…
After we receive your application, we will contact you to determine the best way that we can use your skills. All information on your volunteer application form will be kept confidential and will help us find the perfect volunteer project for you.
