Cascine Mill and Plantation May 16,2026
Come get a peak inside the privately held Cascine Plantation, a Pre-Revolutionary War landmark in our area. Explore this beautiful and private historic site of the Jeremiah Perry family. Our morning at this private mill pond will include a guided tour visit of the Cascine plantation site, restored Pre-Revolutionary War house, graveyards, horse racing site, and exterior of the1850 Plantation house beginning at 10 a.m. At noon, we will see the mid-18th century grist mill, the second erected on the site, which is undergoing restoration. Your ticket includes a catered BBQ lunch. At the mill site is a restored miller house, a large new “shop” where the current owners are doing much of the mill restoration work, and a presentation on the history of the site, where there has been a mill since 1778.
