Preservation Zebulon and Zebulon’s Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting event to celebrate Zebulon’s newly awarded National Register Historic District.
The event is at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 27 at the Strickland-Temple house, circa 1915, at 104 East Sycamore St., Zebulon. After the ribbon cutting, the home will be open until 5 p.m. for tours, and light refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public.
Preservation Zebulon will also kick off its second Historic Homes Tour two days later, Saturday, April 29, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This ticketed event features charming examples of early 20th century architecture inside six 100-plus-year-old homes within the historic district.
